About Us
Spirit of St. Louis Pug Fanciers, Inc (SSLPF) is an organization made up of pug-loving individuals. We meet quarterly and sponsor pug-related activities such as Pug Canine Good Citizen Classes, educational speakers, picnics, ice cream social, etc. that our pugs can participate in. We work closely with Metro St. Louis Pug Rescue and each year sponsor the Pug Party in the Park for the Benefit of Metro St. Louis Pug Rescue. Check out our calendar for more details. Visitors are always welcome to attend.
Mission Statement
Dedicated to protect, preserve and advance the awareness of the Pug Dog through sensitive ownership, health, welfare, love and companionship in order to strengthen the appreciation for the enlightenment of Pug Pride and importance of the Pug Dog.
Metro St. Louis Pug Rescue
Metro St. Louis Pug Rescue (MSLPR) is networked through the St. Louis area. We watch for the well being of the purebred pug. Within our capabilities we make our placement services available to those owners who can no longer care for their pug. We are licensed by the MO Department of Agriculture, a MO registered non-profit corporation and a tax exempt 501©(3) corporation. We are always looking for more foster homes, help at our October Pug Party in the Park Fund Raiser, donations, or other kinds of help.
